We continue to explore equipment that people can use at home for Photobiomodulation, both for continued maintenance after completing an in-office program with us, as well as for those who may not live near the Colorado Springs area and therefore are not able to receive our guided treatment protocols with our medical-grade equipment.

DNA Vibe’s Jazz Band
DNA Vibe was established in 2014 by a medical professional who understood how light therapy works and a mechanical engineer who is also a particle physicist. Their goal was to develop a light therapy device that used regular LEDs to emit the light photons but to be able to actually have the light penetrated deep enough into our tissues that it would have a photobiomodulation effect.
Remember from our home page that LEDs emit diffuse light, meaning the light photons will not go very deep. Superluminescent diodes (SLDs) are often used in light therapy devices due to their ability to emit coherent light that penetrates deeply enough to be effective. However, SLDs are extremely expensive, making quality light therapy equipment financially out of reach for many people.
Enter the DNA Vibe Jazz Band! The developers figured out that by combining specific frequencies of vibration along with a very low magnetic pulsing (emf), they could use regular and inexpensive LED’s to emit the light and still obtain a good tissue healing effect.
The vibration and the emf help to drive the light photons deep into the body, so the Jazz Band is under $300 vs costing the thousands of dollars typical of high-quality light therapy devices.
